Type 1 is here to enhance your experience with diabetes. Tracking your insulin dosage has never been easier. With Type 1, you can know your insulin dose with a single snapshot of your food. AI will help recognize your food from a personally trained database of the food you regularly eat.

Why Type 1?

The answer is simple. Yes, simple. A minimalistic flow with humane language makes Type 1 a pleasure to use. We do not believe in overwhelming our users with complicated data. Simplistic UI and accessibility is what makes up the beauty of Type 1.

How it works

After clicking a picture of your food, you will label it with a name which will be stored in a personal database within the app. Then, you will give us an estimate of how much insulin you normally take for the food and tell us your blood sugar reading. Two hours later, you will come back to log your blood sugar after which your meal would be added to your activities. Once the food is repeated multiple times, the app will learn to recognize your meals and remind you of your insulin dose.

Your food is personal

We all eat differently. But what we eat remains consistent. Most importantly, the way it looks remains consistent. With AI, your food can be recognized and matched with similar foods you eat in the past. This way, you don’t spend time remembering the doses for each meal but instead have it on your fingertips.

Stop Calculating. Start Eating.

Carb calculations are a complicated trial and error process which take time. Time is limited, so Type 1 can remember insulin doses for you. Remembering your estimates, you will receive insulin doses with the click of a button.

Keep an eye on your health

All your meals with details like glucose levels and insulin intake will be available on the app as long as it stays on your device. This allows you to have a detailed insight into your diabetic health and performance. In future versions, you will be able to share a copy of this data with your doctors.
